Choose a template above and click the button. This will open the template in Canva (you'll need a free Canva account if you don't already have one).
Replace the placeholder text with your business information:
- Your name and job title
- Business name
- Phone number and email
- Website URL
- Upload your logo (if you have one)
- Change colours to match your branding (optional)
The templates include guide lines showing:
- Bleed area (outer edge): Where the card will be trimmed - extend your background colours to this line
- Safe area (inner box): Keep all important text and logos inside this area

Click "Share" → "Download" → Choose "PDF Print" format. This gives you a high-quality print-ready file.

Template Specifications
- Size: UK standard 85mm x 55mm (business card size)
- Bleed: 3mm on all sides (already set up in templates)
- Safe area: 3mm from trim edge (shown by guide lines)
- Format: Ready to print on our standard 450gsm silk card
Design Tips
- Keep text readable: Minimum font size 8pt (9-10pt is better)
- Use high-quality logos: Upload vector logos or high-res PNG files (not tiny JPGs)
- Check your colours: Colours on screen may look different when printed - that's normal
- Don't overcrowd: Less is more - white space makes your card look professional
- Proofread carefully: Check spelling, phone numbers, and email addresses before sending to print
Adding a QR Code in Canva
Want to add a QR code? Canva has a built-in QR code generator:
- Search "QR code" in the Canva elements panel
- Click on a QR code element to add it to your design
- Paste your website URL in the box that appears
- Resize and position the QR code (recommend 2cm x 2cm minimum)
- You can change the colour to match your branding

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Canva Pro?
No, you can use these templates with a free Canva account. However, some elements within Canva (fonts, graphics, etc.) may be Canva Pro only. Canva will let you know if you try to use a Pro element - you can either upgrade, or just choose a free alternative element.
Can I change the colours and fonts?
Yes! Customize the templates however you like. Change colours, fonts, layout - make it match your brand. Just keep important text within the safe area.
What if I don't have a logo?
That's fine - you can use just text for your business name. Or we can help - our design service includes logo design if you need it.
Can you check my design before I order?
Yes! Email your PDF to hello@nowprint.co.uk and we'll check it for free before you commit to ordering. We'll let you know if anything needs adjusting.
What format should I download?
Download as PDF Print format from Canva. This gives us a high-quality, print-ready file with proper bleed and resolution.
Can I use these templates for other printers?
Yes, you can. The templates are set to UK standard business card size with 3mm bleed, so they'll work with most UK printers. Though we'd love you to print with us!
What if the template doesn't work for me?
Send us an email or give us a call. We can either help you fix the issue, or we offer affordable design services where we'll create your business cards from scratch.
