Here’s a peek behind the scenes at our print studio, where the smell of fresh paper, the hum of printers, and the buzz of local business keeps us going every day.
☕ 8:30am – Gearing Up for the Day
The kettle’s on, emails are open, and the day begins. We start by reviewing our print schedule and checking any new enquiries that have come in overnight.
Whether it’s an urgent flyer job from a West Kirby café or a wedding stationery order from a couple in Bebington, everything gets logged, prioritised, and carefully planned.
🎨 9:00am – Artwork Checks & Design Tweaks
Before anything goes to print, our team checks all artwork to make sure it’s print-ready. That means:
Correct bleed and margins
Sharp resolution
CMYK colour mode
No missing fonts or low-res images
If something’s not quite right, we’ll let you know—or fix it if you’d like us to. We want every job to come out looking spot on.
Need design help? We also create custom artwork for many local businesses—from business cards for a Wirral hairdresser to branded menus for a Heswall restaurant.
🖨️ 10:30am – Print in Full Swing
With jobs prepped and proofed, it’s time to hit print! We’ve got high-quality digital and large-format printers ready to go for:
We carefully manage colours, alignment, and finishes to ensure a clean, professional result every time.
✂️ 1:00pm – Trimming, Binding & Finishing Touches
Printing is just one part of the process. After that comes:
Trimming and guillotining
Folding
Binding (for booklets and brochures)
Padding (for NCR books)
Laminating or creasing, if needed
It’s hands-on work, but we love it—and there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a freshly printed stack of perfect business cards or a glossy brochure come together.
📦 3:30pm – Packing & Dispatching Orders
Once your order is complete, we pack it up securely for delivery. We offer:
